Best-known for his iconic role as the slightly neurotic psychiatrist Frasier Crane, Kelsey Grammer played this role for a full twenty years. The role was created in 1984 in the third season of the show “Cheers” and continued until 1993 in that show. Then in the spin-off “Frasier”, Grammer continued to play the role for another 11 years until the show ended in 2004.
